The space race isn’t really much of a race at all.<\/p>\n
The data analysts at Fair Betting Sites have crunched the space budgets from countries around the world to see which nations are spending the most money on their aerospace programs.<\/p>\n
The United States came away as the clear winner, spending 4.5x more than China, the next-highest country. In total, the US spent $61.97 billion on space programs in 2022, more than any other country in the world.<\/p>\n
The data, which was sourced from Euroconsult, revealed that the US space budget outweighed that of all governments in the world combined ($41 billion).<\/p>\n
China was next on the list after spending $11.94 billion on its aerospace program in 2022 but no other country in the world had a space budget of more than $5 billion.<\/p>\n
