Betting Limits

BetMGM doesn’t publish the minimum or maximum stake for bets on their site. We had a little rummage through the terms and conditions and simply found some legalise stating that they reserve the right to adjust limits.

Our experts, through placing bets, found that many betting odds and markets have a 50p minimum stake. However, this may vary for football accumulators, combination bets and system wagers. Football is certainly front and centre at BetMGM, with numerous betting options available. We were particularly impressed with the Europa League and Champions League betting odds. The same can be said, however, about the tennis markets we so enjoyed sampling.

We compared live betting odds on the BetMGM sportsbook with those on our other recommended sites. The results showed that BetMGM offers competitive prices, particularly in horse racing, boxing, and UFC. Some of their football odds were also above average.

After that, we explored their live-streaming betting options. In doing so, we discovered that BetMGM provides live streaming for UK and Irish horse racing, which you can watch on both the desktop and mobile. However, the lack of live streams for football and other sports was somewhat disappointing.

The best way to contact the BetMGM customer support team is by live chat. You can access the service by selecting the gold-coloured speech bubble in the bottom right corner of the screen. The live chat function is available 24/7, all year round and is fast and efficient.

As many betting sites now prioritise live chat, we didn’t really expect BetMGM UK to have a telephone number to provide in our BetMGM review – and they don’t. The alternative to live chat is to email support at [email protected]. There is also a Help Centre on the site which is stocked with useful information.

What Is The BetMGM App Like?

You can download the BetMGM app on iPhone and Android devices. As we saw in our BetMGM review, it’s a pretty well-designed mobile betting app providing quick access to sports betting and casino games.

Since its launch in August 2023, the BetMGM app has garnered positive BetMGM reviews with a 4.4-star rating on the App Store and a 4.5-star rating on Google Play. This puts it up there with the best scores for top sports betting apps online.

Our experts were impressed in our BetMGM review by the number of game show titles like Evolution’s Funky Time and Pragmatic Play Live’s Boom City. Furthermore, there are also some top MGM Exclusives such as BetMGM Roulette and Bellagio Blackjack which you should take a look at.

Payment Options At BetMGM UK

Our BetMGM review found a few banking options that include debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. The minimum deposit for all payment methods is £10, while maximum deposits are set at £3,000 for Visa and Mastercard, and £10,000 for PayPal and bank transfers. Furthermore, BetMGM does not charge any fees for deposits or withdrawals.

Although we found the limited options a little surprising, we had to factor in the relatively new age of this site. For this reason, we think it’s likely that more options could be provided as BetMGM becomes more established in the United Kingdom.

How To Withdraw From BetMGM

BetMGM states that it takes between one to five working days to receive your withdrawals, depending on which banking option you choose. We found it quicker with cards, with two withdrawals made by Visa debit turned around in under an hour.

Your first withdrawal may take longer if asked to provide ID verification. Once your account is verified, subsequent withdrawals will be in line with the standard processing times.

How Safe is BetMGM?

BetMGM launched in the UK in 2023 and has made a significant impression since setting up shop. Of course, the brand’s roots stretch back much longer having been established in 1924 as Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios.

While our BetMGM review has pointed out that this online betting platform is relatively new, it’s the combination of legacy and quality that makes it a safe and reputable betting brand. Ultimately, we have no concerns over safety given that BetMGM is operated by Leo Vegas, who holds an active UK Gambling Commission licence.

BetMGM adheres to strict safety and security protocols, utilizing the latest Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption and firewall software. You can also find responsible gambling tools and a privacy policy on their website.

BetMGM Review – The Final Verdict

We’re big fans of BetMGM UK, considering them to be up there with the top online sports betting brands online. Some of the factors that contributed to a mostly positive conclusion are their bonuses, site design, odds, Bet Builder, and live streaming for horse racing.

Bookies always have room for improvement, of course. On the negative side, we think they can do better with their Best Odds Guaranteed, which is only available from 11 am on race days. But other than this – and perhaps favouring a few more payment methods – we’re impressed!
