NRG Bet Review of Main Features

There are a number of different features at NRG Bet. Let’s take a look at what is available.

Sports You Can Bet on

Something that is immediately apparent when gazing upon the A-Z list of sports at NRG Bet is that there’s less options available than at many other online bookmakers. We counted 20 different categories.

This includes Politics, TV Specials and Virtuals. The most popular sports to bet on such as football, horse racing, tennis, golf and greyhounds are all covered. If you aren’t interested in niche sports or Esports, then NRG Bet’s offering will probably suit you fine. Here’s what we found available when we made our NRG Bet reviews.

Betting Limits

We struggled to find the terms of the minimum bet at NRG Bet. That doesn’t mean that there’s not one, but it’s certainly not information that is easily available.

When it comes to maximum bets, there is a cap of £100,000 on payouts. So there’s no point in placing a stake that will exceed that level of winnings.

Live Betting

There is an In Play button at the top of the NRG Bet website. Click on it and you’ll be transported to the live betting section, which can be filtered by available sports.

We found that live events were covered with an impressive amount of markets, with competitive odds available. A feature that we liked was prices being displayed as pink when they were drifting out and then blue when the odds were coming in.

Live Streaming

There is no live streaming at NRG Bet. For a bookmaker that only launched in 2024, this is not particularly surprising. It’s the type of feature that is generally the preserve of more established brands.

With NRG Bet covering horse racing and greyhounds in some detail, one wonders if those sports could act as a starting point for live streaming. Some of the newer bookies such as AK Bets, do have live streaming of UK and Irish racing.

NRG Bet Odds

We generally found that the odds at NRG bet to be pretty competitive, when we made our NRG bet review. As mentioned earlier, there are daily bet boosts available, with a range of singles and multiples being given boosted odds.

As is the case with the live markets, pre-event odds are highlighted in pink when going out and in blue when getting shorter.

Extra Features

We were pleased to find two features that any serious bookie needs in place these days. There is a Cash Out facility, where you get an offer on open bets. This allows punters to bank an early profit, regardless of what the eventual result may be.

Then there is Build-a-Bet, which is NRG Bet’s version of a Bet Builder. Events where this feature is available have a yellow button on the top right corner.

Click on it and you’ll find all of the markets which can be grouped together. We were impressed with the range of markets available in this feature and when you start building your bet, you are shown how much a £1 wager would win you.

NRG Bet Review of Customer Service

We found this online bookie to be a bit light, when it comes to methods of contact. There is no NRG Bet live chat, which is pretty common at betting sites these days. We also couldn’t find any phone number, should you want to speak to a member of their customer service team.

That leaves email as the only official NRG Bet contact method. They do also have a range of social media accounts on X, Facebook and Instagram, which you could try.

What is the NRG Bet App Like?

NRG Bet do have a dedicated betting app for Apple devices. As yet, there’s no Android equivalent. We have to assume that one will come in time and to be fair to NRG Bet, not every new betting site has an app available.

We found it very easy to navigate around NRG Bet from their app. The same is true when using their site using a mobile browser. The main menu system is neatly hidden away, creating more space. Meanwhile, the casino translates well to the smaller screen.

Now it’s time to put the casino to the test. There are over 1000 games available to play in total, including slots, table games, live casino tables and NRG Bet bingo.

Let’s take a closer look at what the casino has to offer.

Slots & Table Games

We really liked the layout of the casino at NRG Bet. As you scroll down the main list of games, you find that they are organised in categories, which included trending games.

There’s also a tab at the top of the screen with further categories, which allows you to filter the result. This includes filtering by the software provider, with the likes of Pragmatic Play and Relax Gaming providing games. The search bar worked really well, instantly throwing up appropriate titles from your query.

Live Casino Options

There is a live casino at NRG Bet, which can be accessed from within the main casino, or from a separate section. Again, the layout is very user-friendly. Just scroll down and you’ll see roulette, blackjack, gameshows, baccarat, speed games and Asian games, neatly collected together.

You also have the option of scrolling through the tabs at the top of the screen, or using the search function. We found that there was a good mix between lower stakes games and ones with big buy-ins, so every budget is catered for. It’s all presented in crystal clear HD, with the live dealers doing a great job of making this an immersive and realistic experience.

NRG Bet Bingo Review

Another type of game that can be accessed from within the main casino, or from its own section, is bingo. The bingo is provided by Pragmatic Play, who are giants of the casino software industry. So you know that you’re in safe hands.

There are bingo games such as Bingo Box where tickets can be bought for just 1p. If you’re a more serious bingo player, there are a range of options going right up to Heavy Weight Bingo, which provides daily 90-ball games where tickets cost 25p.

Payment Methods

An area where we were a little disappointed during our NRG Bet review, was the limited number of payment options available.

NRG Bet lack support for popular payment methods such as E-wallets like Paypal and cryptocurrencies, which are both fast and discreet. On the plus side, the minimum deposit for all payment methods is set very low at just £1. Here’s what’s available.

What is the NRG Bet Withdrawal Time Like?

Whether you’re withdrawing via debit card, bank transfer or cheque, the processing time is a standard 2-5 working days. In practice, it tends to be more like 1-3 days, which is very good, particularly for cheque.

Regarding withdrawal times, payment methods with instant withdrawals aren’t available. We hope that as NRG Bet expands, so too will the range of payment options, giving punters the opportunity to experience super-fast withdrawal times.

NRG Bet Reviews of Licensing, Safety & Security

NRG Bet have a license from the UK Gambling Commission. They ensure betting sites stick within strict rules, designed to protect their users.

That’s the end of our review and we hope that you enjoyed it. NRG Bet are a very new betting brand and they have got a lot of things in place already. There’s competitive odds, market depth, a good live section, a fine casino, an iOS app and features like Cash Out and Bet Builder.

Yet there are also some things lacking here. That needs addressing if NRG Bet is to become a major player in the sports betting industry. They have few payment options, lack features such as live streaming and cover a relatively small number of sports.

There’s enough positives to reasonably assume that the negatives will be rectified over time. Either way, NRG Bet have got enough going for them to deserve a place within your portfolio of betting accounts.
