You can livestream selected horse racing and greyhound events on the site. We watched a few races but only after we had deposited £10 and placed a bet on a couple of events in Lingfield and Perry Barr.

The streams were as crisp and reliable as those found on other top horse racing betting apps and sites. You can find live-streaming events easily, too, as they have a green play icon next to the courses and tracks covered.

Odds

The betting odds at Planet Sport Bet float around the average mark for the industry. We found some value in their less popular markets, although some athletics and Gaelic football prices were nice. Price boosts are also available across many of their popular markets.

Our team was also impressed with the variety of bet types available across all sports. For instance, there were touchdown and running yards prices for American football next to straight-up bets and outrights. This is always nice to have.

Extra Features

We’re always keen to see what a site offers beyond the very basics. While the Planet Sport Bet welcome offer is indeed a good deal, what else do they offer to enhance the average punter’s experience? As it happens, there are a few extras that may come in handy.

Bet Builder

Build-a-Bet is the name of the Bet Builder feature provided to punters by this brand. All eligible markets are assigned a “B” letter next to them, which helped us discern between we could include in our selections. The Build-a-Bet at Planet Sport Bet is far from unique, despite the name, but we liked using it.

Cash Out

Planet Sport Bet is among betting sites with cash out on selected events. You’ll find the cash out symbol next to eligible markets, making it easier to plan your wagers. While the offer we received for an early cash out on a Celtic preseason match wasn’t great, they seldom are. It’s still a decent tool to have available.

Planet Sport Bet Review of Customer Service

We’re disappointed with the limited customer support options found while conducting our Planet Sport Bet review. Essentially, there is no Planet Sport Bet live chat function or a telephone number to call. In essence, the only way to reach the site is by email.

Leaving customers with just an email address as a means to contact you is not ideal. While many popular bookies provide live chat, telephone numbers, and even social media accounts to contact, the options here don’t inspire us.

What compounds our frustration further is that aspects of the Planet Sport Bet site that are not clear from the get-go. For example, we would have liked to query certain bonus terms and conditions that aren’t covered in their short and linear FAQ section. To do so meant waiting for a response to an email the next day.

What is the Planet Sport Bet App Like?

The Planet Sport Bet app is nothing more than average. With over 1k downloads and 1.6 stars from 5 on Android – and 2.8 stars out of 5 on iPhone – it’s certainly not among the most popular UK betting apps we’ve come across.

That’s not to say it’s bad, of course. Although it felt a little disjointed and could probably do with an upgrade, we found a wide range of betting odds and markets pretty easily. Things were signposted appropriately with menus taking us to where we ultimately wanted to go.
